Recompliance programme example
If a client or partner is recomplying through participating in an approved activity, there may not be a single activity long enough to meet the required 6 week period of recompliance. A programme of short-term approved activities may be more appropriate for the client or partner.
A programme of suitable activities for a client or partner with part-time work obligations should be:
- at least 15 hours per week for clients with limited capacity to work because of health condition, injury, or disability
- at least 20 hours per week for all other clients with part-time work obligations
Example of short term approved activities
Week 1 | CV Seminar - 20 hours |
Week 2 | Employment skills programme - 20 hours |
Week 3 | Employment skills programme - 20 hours |
Week 4 | Employment skills programme - 20 hours |
Week 5 | Presentation seminar approved by Work and Income |
Week 5 | Work experience |
Week 6 | Work experience |
Week 6 | Business Plan preparation interview with accountant or local business enterprise centre - 3 hours |
Note a programme of short-term suitable activities should be relevant to the obligations failure and be fair and reasonable.
