Completing the 52 week reapplication process
Clients must complete the 52 week reapplication process before their expiry date unless they have exceptional circumstances. If a client does not do this, their Sole Parent Support will stop.
To continue to get their benefit, clients must attend a 52 week reapplication appointment. This can be done either by phone, or face to face at a service centre depending on their circumstances.
To complete the 52 week reapplication process the client must:
- meet the qualifications for Sole Parent Support
- attend the reapplication appointment
- complete the 52 week reapplication form online or during their application appointment
- provide any supporting evidence required
- participate in and complete a Comprehensive Work Assessment
Actions required at completion
Once MSD is satisfied that the client has completed the 52 week reapplication process for Sole Parent Support, MSD must:
