Changes and reviews
A client must advise MSD of any changes in their circumstances that may affect their entitlement to Veteran's Pension or the rate payable.
MSD may also review the Veteran's Pension at any time to ensure that the client still meets the qualifications and is getting the correct rate of payment (if applicable). Reviews for Veteran's Pension are done on a case-by-case basis.
Mandatory Reviews for Accommodation Supplement and Disability Allowance
Veteran's Pension clients getting Disability Allowance or Accommodation Supplement will have a Mandatory Review for this assistance only.
MSD must complete a Mandatory Review within 52 weeks of the commencement date for Accommodation Supplement or Disability Allowance, or 52-weeks from the date their last Mandatory Review was completed.
There is no Mandatory Review of the Veteran's Pension.
