Overall rating for adequacy

The overall risk-rating for adequacy will be taken from the highest score across all of the criteria:

  • the client is 'not living in any accommodation' or is living in emergency housing for the time being
  • living in accommodation that is not fit for human habitation or is in a serious state of disrepair that presents a severe and significant health and safety risk to the occupants (eg no structural integrity or the condition of the facilities are poor or non-existent)
  • whether the client is living in premises that are overcrowded
  • whether the client has no, or limited, security of tenure
