Suitability of current housing
To assess whether the client's current housing situation is suitable you need to consider whether the client 'needs to move' from where they are currently living because of:
- any medical, disability or personal needs of the client (or a member of their household)
- any threat to the health or safety of the client (or a member of their household):
- due to family violence
- other tension (from within the household or in the neighbourhood) or
- other violence relating to the client's current living situation
The overall risk rating for suitability is the highest of the 2 categories.
Changes in the household's circumstances and makeup of a household can also affect the suitability of the client's current accommodation.
