NZQA Scholarship Monetary Awards

The NZQA Scholarship Monetary Awards (originally called the Top Scholar Awards) replaced the University Bursary awards from 2004. They recognise and reward achievement and excellence of secondary school students in the New Zealand Scholarship Examinations.

The NZQA Scholarship Monetary Awards are the overall responsibility of New Zealand Qualifications Authority (including the award decisions). StudyLink is only responsible for confirming whether the successful student meets the study criteria for an award and making payment of the award to the student.
