Changes and reviews for Irish benefits and pensions
A client is obliged to advise Work and Income of any changes in their circumstances that may affect their entitlement to a New Zealand benefit or pension.
MSD may also review a benefit at any time to ensure that the client still meets the qualifications and is receiving the correct rate of payment.
A client is also required to provide any information required by the Irish authorities to ensure that they are still entitled to their Irish benefit or pension paid in New Zealand.
When MSD matches a client's information with information from Ireland, MSD must send a written notice of adverse action to the client.
A notice of adverse action is only required upon receipt of the first information match.
