Relocate for Work Support : Contents
Introduction
Relocate for Work Support provides financial assistance to help clients relocate to another area to start a new job if they haven't been able to get a suitable and sustainable job in their local area.
To get Relocate for Work Support, a client must be:
- on a main benefit and
- of working age and
- at risk of long-term benefit receipt and
- meet all other qualifications
The amount paid depends on the client's needs, how far they are moving, the type of transport they will be using, and if they are moving alone or with their immediate family.
Note young persons aged 16-17 cannot get Relocate for Work Support.
