Jobseeker Support : Contents
No notice for clients with a grade 3 sanction
Clients with a partner and single clients with a grade 3 sanction have their benefit cancelled and are subject to a 13 week non-entitlement period. This means they will not be sent the "initial notice to reapply" letter and cannot complete the reapplication process.
If the client still needs Jobseeker Support, they will need to:
- recomply the grade 3 sanction and be granted a provisional benefit while they complete a 6 week recompliance activity or
- wait until the end of the 13 week non-entitlement period and apply for Jobseeker Support as a new applicant.
For more information see:
Note sole parents with a sanction applied will be sent their "notice to reapply".
